Vista Issues - disk not recognized

I come to you with this problem. I am for the first time on vista going back and playing both KotoR games and had the same issue on both games. When I go to start it tells me - Please remove disk from current cd/dvd drive and insert original disk in another drive ?..

 

The issue is I have the original disks! {snip} not here So now I am left unable to play and I have no clue why. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
