Grim Fandango Network?

So i've kinda been out of the whole Monkey Island/Grim Fandango scene for a while now, and I haven't checked out any of the sites or anything for a really long time. Well, I got the hankering to check it out again, and see if there was any new news of a possible sequal(since its always on everybody's mind, GF was my favorite game), so I went to check out the GF Network and other sites I used to check out a while ago, and they have all seemed to dissapear. Whats going on? This really sucks. Have people really lost interest in this game all at once? Please help me out.

Well, I'm sure many people can explain this better than I, but the server is down. People haven't lost interest, they've lost webspace temporarily. Mixnmojo is currently down, which means the GFN, a lot of escapemi.com hosted sites are still down, adventuregamers.com is down, and probably some others. Once again, I'm sure others can explain this to you better (Metallus, ZX).

Hey, it's great to hear that people are concerned for the well-being of the GF Network. It means a lot to myself and the other people that work there.

 

Grindy, right now Mixnmojo, and the rest of its hosted sites and networks (including the GFN) are down due to many server-related problems. We're now entering the third month of downtime, but I have word that Mixnmojo has the new server and will be ready to roll very soon, and that the network administrators (Spaff, Jake, DJG) are waiting for the domain (mixnmojo.com) to return to their rightful posession (I'm not sure, but I think there was some mix-up and it's now on hold). The GF Network has no better home than Mixnmojo, and no better support than that of the fans that read it.

 

We're sorry that this downtime has gone on for so long, but rest assured that the result will be well worth the wait.

Aye... as the owner of grimfandango2.com, I'm very interested in bringing it online as soon as possible. Unfortunatly, we have to wait for Mixnmojo to get their servers back up before we can come back.

 

All in due time though, I predict it will only be a week or two more.
