HodgePodge Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Well, after working on this puppy for about three weeks now, I'm finally pleased enough with it to release it as a beta. So, what does this mod do? It adds a Nagini Recruitment Officer to the Enclave on Dantooine. This Twi'lek will sell to you various mercenaries. In this beta, you can purchase Echani, Mandalorian, Gammorean, Wookie, and Rodian mercenaries. Of course, your droids will be removed from your party, to be held as collateral by the Nagini Officer. The real reason I made this mod was to try out a solution to a problem that had been bugging me for a while: If you spawned an NPC and gave them an OnHeartbeat follow script, they wouldn't follow you between areas. This mod remedies that problem by adding the mercenaries to your party, and replacing your droids (as stated above.) This is my first mod, so any and all feedback is appreciated. So please, feel free to tell me that my mod is horrendous, or that it inspired a religious epiphany in your life, causing you to embrace an obscure deity, which sets you on a self-destructive path consisting of drugs, violence, and bad canteloupe. However, since this is my first mod, I must warn you: there will be bugs. It really is inevitable, and so, if you do find any, PLEASE post them. There is nothing more enjoyable than receiving a bug report which you have no idea how to solve I think that's pretty much it guys. Thanks man I guess technically it's not my first, because I messed around with some stat editing and retexturing of items, but this is the first one I've released. Its an interesting and clever mod idea My advice, is however to just mod things, the way you would like, so if you would like this to be expanded... expand it so you can play it... then release it. Unfortunatly feedback in TUCE, isn't always massive, I would PM Shem about getting this up at KotORFiles, as you will hava better idea of its popularity from downloads, ratings and comments.
