Totenkopf
Have fiddled around with making merchants, but one problem I don't seem to be able to figure out is how to keep something in the inventory of a modded merchant if I decide to return and buy it back later (or maybe accidentally sold wrong item in first place, but don't catch mistake till to late). Normally, if you sell Larrim (for example) an item, you can buy it back from him later. When I modified that utm file (per tutorial), I was no longer able to to that. It was gone from his inventory. Is this just a .utm glitch or is there some way to "fix it"?
Istorian
Well, open your custom .utm file with a GFF editor....You should see a field like this: BuySellFlag (BYTE): Determines if the merchant will sell items, buy items or do both. 1 = Only sells 2 = Only buys 3 = Buys and Sells Put it in 3, and whatever you sell to the merchant, you can buy it back!! glovemaster
You can open it up with KotorTool and its much more user-friendly than the GFF-Editor.
