HK-42
i like the books, but i do have a few problems with the movies 1.they dont follow the books completely and thats what ppl went to the theater to see(cont. to #3) 2.the actors sucked at first, but now theyre getting better. too bad they werent that good before 3. charge more for full movies, not the chopped up versions of the book that these are (cont. from #1) 1 and 3- At first the movies followed them almost perfectly then started to stray but its ok with me. 2- Agreed. The Dumbledore in number 4 was horrible. The book says he is worried about Harry being in the Tournament. In the movie he was furious, angry half the movie. He got better though. The Doctor
Ah, this movie will be as emo as Tim Burton -_- Blagh Don't say that. Don't even think it. You'll jinx it, and then it will actually happen, and then I'll have to start taking pills for my blood pressure again, what with the thought of anything relating to Tim Burton tainting what was once a glorious story... Chevron 7 locke
The Harry Potter movies have been going downhill for a while. I hope this one will turn out better
The Doctor
They've been going downhill from the beginning, really. The first two are great movies; the third needs to be burned, forgotten, and re-done; the fourth and fifth were acceptable. Given the overall meagre display shown in the last three movies, I'm not holding out much hope for this one, myself. The fact that they've split it into two movies has no effect on my expectations, to be honest. It kind of balances out. On the one hand, it could simply be a cash-grab: throw in a bunch of junk to fill production time, building suspense and expectations, then split it into two movies that people will have to pay full price to see. Spending $40 to see what will essentially be one movie? Rather ludicrous to me. On the other hand, it means they should theoretically be able to stay true to the book.
