TriggerGod Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 KotOR 1 Do you happen to have any mods in your override folder?
Da_Man_2423 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 No he does not. Currently discussing it with him via Xfire.
TriggerGod Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 No he does not. Currently discussing it with him via Xfire. Hmm.. Try these two things: 1) Update your game. 2) Reinstall if all else phails.
Da_Man_2423 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 He has done both. Still discussing. He can warp to other planets and do stuff there, the problem is just going from Taris --> Dantooine.
TriggerGod Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 He has done both. Still discussing. He can warp to other planets and do stuff there, the problem is just going from Taris --> Dantooine. Almost sounds like a global issue... those of which I do not know how to edit (which is all/most of them)
Da_Man_2423 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 He is using a laptop if that makes any difference. He said the hardware failed 3 tests (using KotOR's nifty test on start-up). I thought perhaps it was a hardware issue, but since he was able to play through Taris and go to other planets, I'm not sure. Edit: Never mind, problem resolved.
sege1 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Hi is it possible to post how this issue was resolved? I'm having the same problem and just wondered what the solution was.
gsyrup Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I'm having the same problem - Ebon Hawk lands on Dantooine then game crashes. I've tried reloading the game but no luck. Did anyone manage to find a solution to this?
