Hairy Plotter Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 I’ve run into a strange glitch on Onderon – when I enter the market square instead of Captain Riiken being next to the turret tower there is a Sith Captain in his place that attacks me. First time I played it I killed the Sith captain off, but then without Riiken ever showing up I can’t progress in getting my information that will eventually get me off of Onderon. I’ve tried it with two separate characters and the same thing has happened. Any idea what kind of file (possibly in my override folder?) might be causing this? I checked the module and Riiken is there, but why would a Sith show up instead?
Hairy Plotter Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 Never mind - I found that Riiken's .UTC file was listed as a sithcomm and I had an altered version of the same UTC in my override folder - deleted that and everything worked...

Hairy Plotter Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 No problem! I had modified some .utc files as part of my "rifle swapping" project, but I found it was much easier to mod the .uti file for the various prop weapons - and, as is obvious from this glitch I encountered, much safer...
