MaraOfEndor
After finishing the first level on the Endar Spire I hopped in the escape pod, saw the first half-second of the movie which should follow and than got an error... I tried it over and over again... but no luck! Found some guys save games on the net, edited my name, class and used them from the Hide Out on Tarris. All went well till... I rescued Bastilla, talked to her and got the very same problem again! This time it's that movie where you see her and 3 others attack a Revan I think! I can watch the movies from the main menu, but I dont want to do the same again! Any advice? PS I am using the 'Star Wars: Best of PC' version (comes already patched to 1.03) and did try to install and uninstall several times. Oh and pressing alt+Tab gives errors as well! MaraOfEndor
For some reason the system check mentions Empire at War... they are together on the same dvd, never had trouble with that game though!
Q
Have you tried any of the solutions offered in the "Laptop Issues" thread here in the work bench? I'll bet it has something to do with the integrated graphics on your laptop.
MaraOfEndor
OK, I downloaded an illegal copy, installed it. Used the save game from my legal copy and... to my surprise I found that you can disable movies with the non-bestofpc-version. There's this small program called swconfig.exe with the program! Got through them movie scenes all right but getting errors somewhere else now. Gonna install the legal one again and see what happens there.. never had such a rubbish product, but the game is great! (otherwise I wouldnt bother...) Thanks for helping lads! If any other user needs the swconfig.exe file let me know! I have no clue if it works with the best of pc version, I'll try! And if it does.. shame on those who forgot to put the tiny program with the best of pc version!
