3d Hardware Accelleration issues!

Hi,

 

I am quite vexed as to what the problem is with my 3d Graphics. I have a laptop with a nVidia GeForce 8600 (i think..) chip. I am running Vista Home Premeium.

 

The problem occurs in all 3 games of the series. In X-Wing and Tie Fighter, software-rendering works fine, but whenever I try to use 3D acceleration I see the cockpit, starfield and HUD, but nothing more. In Alliance, as the cockpit is a 3d environment itself, I only get the HUD and the starfield.

 

Can anyone help?

You may have to wait until there's a driver update...the latest driver fixes a problem we've been having with the box around targets not being rendered, but created a problem like you describe. :|
