Ray Jones
I think this is a bit lacking of information. What kind of ActiveX control, what software, when does it happen etc. Also, this belongs to the tech support center.
stoffe
ActiveX Crash I keep having problems with an ActiveX control pop-up. Any suggestions? The forum software isn't using ActiveX for anything, so it must be coming from one of the advertising banners. Which ones are displaying when you have a problem? tk102
IE6 uses ActiveX for AJAX (MSXML2.XMLHttp Object).
Yar-El
I was using IE7 at the time. Some of the ads were causing the forums to crash. I kept getting the ActiveX controller pop-up box. I went back to IE6 this morning. Maybe that will help. Sorry I didn't give more details before.
