redrob41
I'm trying to figure out what book cover, comic art, or poster that this Asajj Ventress image is from: http://the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/images/star_wars_eu_1/1.jpg from site: http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/images/star_wars_eu_1/1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/star_wars_eu_1.html&h=222&w=386&sz=69&hl=en&start=103&usg=__DzYeAS6eoJxv4zrsJFGfWAsq0Gc=&tbnid=FaNHv-DP5NdXBM:&tbnh=71&tbnw=123&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dasajj%26start%3D90%26gbv%3D2%26ndsp%3D18%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN top center: http://the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/images/star_wars_wallpaper_2/asajj.jpg from site: http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/images/star_wars_wallpaper_2/asajj.jpg&imgrefurl=http://the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/star_wars_wallpaper_2.html&h=1200&w=1920&sz=1162&hl=en&start=8&um=1&usg=__d4DgGfHQKowr4RYlO2GkuIiJ9Cc=&tbnid=rW_Jjll8gDW8qM:&tbnh=94&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dasajj%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26rlz%3D1T4GGLR_enCA241CA241%26sa%3DN It is a painted image of her and Durge, and she is wearing a black and orange bodysuit. As far as I know, this is the only time she is shown wearing that outfit. My problem is that I can't find a better image than these two partial shots, and I need a better source image (so I can start a KotOR mod). (edit: title should be "Asajj Ventress outfit source?") chissemperor
I'm pretty sure that its black and Grey not black and orange and its meant to be the glow from the lightsaber that is making it orange. It might be fan art. You've prbably been here http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Images_of_Asajj_Ventress
redrob41
Thanks, but I've already gone through every link in the "Appearances" section, and Wookieepedia just doesn't have a copy of the painting I'm looking for. I'm hoping that someone out there knows where it was originally printed. I thought that it might be a cover for Star Wars Insider, but I didn't see it there either. I already own the first 6 trade paper backs of the Dark Horse Clone Wars comics. I also have both Dark Horse "Panel to Panel" soft covers. There are a lot of great images of Asajj wearing her black and grey outfits, but I still haven't found the original source of this particular painting (I searched through 28 pages of image hits on Yahoo for that one). I'm pretty sure that its black and Grey not black and orange and its meant to be the glow from the lightsaber that is making it orange. You're right that it might be lightsaber glow that is affecting the robe colour, but I still think that it is a unique outfit, and different from all the other one's I've seen. I've heard that it might be in either "New Essential Chronology" or "Art of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones", but I don't own those books. I'll try and check them out in a store somewhere. If anyone can confirm it, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
Astrotoy7
Although Ventress was originally derived from a crimson clad sith witch concept image for a character that eventually became Darth Maul, *all* the EU(comic, book, figurine, animation) images of her have featured here in black and grey attire. mtfbwya
adamqd
EDIT: Sorry I misread your Post lol, any way the picture you supplied is without question drawn by Tommy Lee Edwards, I initially thought it was from the Jedi vs Sith: Essential guide to the force but I checked twice and it isn't in there, you should search his websites see if you can find it lol edit 2: I found it, it's in the "New Essential Chronology" I'm afraid the second link is the full picture, there is no more of the picture to see, my guess is that the orange is merely artistic license or saber glow
