"FATAL" error on non-dual core processor

i have heard many people are having problems with when they start up Battlefront 2, two tabs show up on the taskbar: "BFII" and one called "FATAL". i am also having that problem. i do not have a dual core processor. please give me some solutions if you know them. i have already uninstalled and reinstalled the game. i have been playing the game for a couple years already. the problem showed up only recently. please help

What are your computer specs? Are you running Vista? Try right clicking on the start up icon and select "run as administrator".
