DarthParametric Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 You'll need to switch to an account with admin privileges to install a program.
Canderis Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 I am an admin with privilages... I can install eaw which is on the same disk but not kotor.
Canderis Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 xp. I had it installed before... so i dont know why its doing this...
DarthParametric Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 You could try right clicking on Setup.exe and choosing "Run as..." then in the window that pops up select the radio button for "The following user:". It should default to the system admin account created when Windows is first installed (not any of your user accounts, regardless of whether they have admin privileges or not). Enter the password for that account and click OK.
Canderis Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 I dont know the password. How can i find it out?
DarthParametric Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Talk to whoever installed your OS. Quite often it will be "admin" or "administrator", so both of those are worth a try if you bought it pre-installed.
Canderis Posted November 6, 2008 Author Posted November 6, 2008 It came pre-installed and the 2 passes you gave didnt work.
