harIII
I have Autodesk 3ds Max loaded on my computer and have the Autodesk version of the importer (I can't remember the name) but I still can't get the models to load into 3ds. What is going on?
Istorian
You mean you have NWMax, but you can't import any models? What exactly are the steps you're doing? |I|
harIII
From what I understand, NWMax for Autodesk is a file converter that will allow 3ds open the file for editing. From your remark, it sounds like I may be wrong.
Istorian
Well, you have to download NWMax from here, install it in the same folder as NWMax (it auto-detects it, I think) and you should be able to import models after that. To import, you must go to the MDL Options (May be wrong) branch in NWMax, select Import Geom Only, then select Browse to find your .mdl file. When you find it, click import. That should do it! |I|
