Editing Sith troppers and all the rest, HELP!!!!!

Hello ALL, right hear is my Q, for mods

 

useing what ever tools,

 

1.change sats for e.g sith troppers

2.give them more kit, e.g better guns, sheilds

and about a ten more thinks i could do,

 

ive got as far as useing the kotor tool, editing the sith tropper, but cant work out how to put it back in the templates.bif, so it overwriths the old (and i must say weak one)

 

any help, or links would be VERY VERY helpful

Have you ever herd of the "override" folder? It does exactly what its name says...

You know, i wouldn't mind having a mod that makes the sith troopers harder to fight.

ok, so all i need is to put my (sith.tropper file) in override, and that is it.

 

it cant be that easy can it?

It is... just dont rename the utc file from its origional state.

ok so iam geting this right,

 

1open kotor, find sith tropper. utc file

2 edit it

3 save it to my desktop (dont change it name)

4put in overwrite folder

 

done.

Yes but there is MORE THAN ONE sith trooper file. I know of ones in taris modules and mannan modules too. To find thease ones go into RIMS and look in each module for sith trooper files (also there are 4 base ones not just one).

just by u telling me that, i can edit each type of tropper (or what ever u are fighting in that area) so they all diffient, in diff areas,

 

i know ive put that down wrong, but nice one, ill be back in a day and pass on how it going

well u can see why iam ask about it and working on it, pop back some time and ill let u know how it going
