I have installed the game without problems, got few mods running and i was looking forward to play because i just finished KOTOR ( i played both games long time ago and now i was trying some mods and stuff since im bored ) But the problem is that after creating character, i watch the movie and then blank screen with message that there is error. I was trying to solve this with disabling sounds and movies but nothing helped, still getting that error. So i know that i should probably reinstall game and update my drivers but i have done it already before and still had that message. At that time i didnt cared a lot since i busy with other things but now i want to play TSL I was thinking that there was some problem with my graphic card but im not sure since im not so good with computers ( laptop in this case ) so if anybody wanna give some advice on how to fix it i will sure appreciate that. Q Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 1) You have Intel integrated graphics. KotOR was not designed to run on it. You can try this fix. It's old, but it might work for you. 2) What OS are you using? If it's Vista, follow the directions in this thread. Hope this helps you.
Chaj Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 I tried that 1st solution you said already and it didnt work And i have Windows XP Professional. But if Kotor aint designed to run on my graphic card then i might as well play something else Thanks for help tho!
Q Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 The thing is, is that it probably should run. Your desktop is at a widescreen resolution, however, and the game doesn't support this without using a mod. What resolution are you using in-game? Try 1024x768 or 800x600. Turn the texture detail to low and turn off any anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, shadows, grass and frame buffer effects.
