jrrtoken
I recently put a Dell USB wheel mouse I had laying around on my older Win98 machine through a USB to PS/2 adapter. The only problem is, Win98 won't recognize it. Dell doesn't seem to have any drivers for it for any OS, so, is there some sort of unofficial driver that will recognize it as a standard PS/2 wheel mouse? urluckyday
Do you know what your model is? I was reading some other tech forums and I've found that your mouse is probably Logitech. Apparently Logitech offers the correct drivers for all versions of Windows. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/ Head over there, and you can find your driver by your product model or even search by the way your mouse looks to find the correct driver. Let me know if this helps!
jrrtoken
I was actually able to fix it by simply plugging it into a regular USB port. Windows detected it immediately. Don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place. xp
