metaltoiletry
Hello, I have been trying to install X-Wing 95 and Tiefighter 95 on my Vista x64 system. I have cds of both games, but every time I choose the option to install either game, I get the error message: The X-Wing setup program was unable to launch. Please make sure the CD is in the CD-ROM drive or try running SETUP.EXE directly from the instX95 folder on the CD-ROM. After trying to launch the recommended file I get the message: The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher. Are there any known workarounds for installing these games on Vista x64? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Wildstar
Look @ the "Phantom Installer" sticky thread in this forum...should point you to where you need to go.
metaltoiletry
It looks like those should do it, but I can't figure out how to download the installers. Am I retarded or something? I went to the website on the sticky thread, http://www.markusegger.at/ I could not find any links to downloads. Is there something going completely over my head? metaltoiletry
Oh, I got it, nevermind. Google Chrome was not displaying the links to the games and applications. Odd. Thanks!
