Rabish Bini
Well, I finally decided to make a thread for my lyrics/poetry, but mainly lyrics, and a later date I'll probably put a guitar tune to 'em. Anyways, it starts out with a heartfelt one. Enjoy! A Song For Stacey I spend my nights Dreamin' about you I spend my days Thinking about you Listening To the whispering wind Focusing On the hurt inside Wondering If you notice me Contemplating If you love me I've opened my heart And poured out my love Just to be stopped by Forces above Why? Am I living this way Why? Don't I stray away My life Is hell without you But I'll Make it through Somehow... As God is my witness And Stan knows The Darkness won't last The light shall grow And I'll be there... Waiting For you to come home Staying 'Til the dead of night Knowing That you will come home Believing That you'll come home soon I've opened my heart And poured out my love Just to be stopped by Forces above And I'll be there... I spend my nights Dreamin' about you I spend my days Thinking about you And I'll be there I'll be there...
The_Catto
Ballad style! Nice one Bini! I like. In a band yet, man? Get some muZAK to those lyrics!
Rabish Bini
Thanks! Nah, not in a band yet, I really cbf at the moment, and I'm still saving for an electric, so it's acoustic music for me for now, which is nowhere near a bad thing.
The_Catto
Hell no. Sometimes I just lay my electric down and jam out to Acoustic for a couple of hours. It's one of the best things to do! If I'm writing a song, I play on Acoustic first. Just like what Chris Cheney has once said (and this is my philosophy as well!): "Why plug in an electric and make a sh*t song even LOUDER???" What type of acoustic do you have?
Rabish Bini
Another song, I sorta envisaged this one to be a metal song, and a dark song at that, sucks for me having an acoustic then ah well, Enjoy! Satan's Cry I awoke this morning Sweating from fear Listened to evil calling Death I could hear Thought it was a warning Maybe the end was near The rain outside was puring My path was clear I went outside, into the rain Started feeling, feeling insane Is this real Or some kind of hell? It drew near The Four Horsemen were hear Blood fell down From the sky Men were deafened By Satan's Cry The city burned Everyone perished Sent to hell With everything they cherished They sky turned red As people died Faces turned purple Babies cried Satans call was Hard to miss For most Death is bliss! Pestilence came first Stormed through Hells Gates For blood it thirst Doom he creates Was was next Brawling it released Came to Earth To abolish Peace Then came famine And people starved Mounds of bodies Famine carved Then I saw The serpent laughing The worst is here And the body count's climbing Death came out And took control Searing bodies That looked like coal Evils arrows Never missed And for all Death is bliss! Why? Must it end Why? Did we not repent Why? Will this not halt Why? It must've been our fault And so it goes on Evil wins Christ never came So the serpent grins Masses of bodies Lying in pain Hordes of evil Being humanity's bane And so I sit here Writing this song From a humans perspective I can do no wrong And while I smile At humanity's grief Eternal torture With no bliss Death is bliss... The_Catto
Hellz to the yeah, Bini! Nice work. The structure is good, and I can even imagine an awesome sounding riff to that, but I'll leave that part to you, lol. Has the makings of a great metal song indeed. It's funny too cause when I was reading it, "The Four Horsemen" - Metallica came on the playlist and I just read the line you wrote and I was like ... "Woah ... That was coooool!!!!" Haha. Great work. Post some freakin more! \m/
Rabish Bini
Thanks BFA. The inspiration for the song just so happened to come from "The Four Horsemen"
