Hello, I'm new to the forums. I was been reading here for a couple of time and now decided to register to make this thread in the hope to find some help with my mod. I'm a Russian living in Germany, so don't expect perfect English

 

But now to the mod: I have a lot of free time and wanted to improve my photoshop skills, so I decided to make a reskin for the party members in TSL. I'm not very used with PS, so I hoped the people here could give me some tipps or help me improving my work.

 

I've done a reskin for Atton so far and gave the jacket a leather look and also worked on the head a bit.

Still it could be better I think and I hope someone can give me some tipps to improve it.

I am not the best at modding but I can give you some tips;)

 

First, once you open Photoshop and load the skin, you can modify the "Curves" by going into Image-->Adjustments. It will give a better look to him

 

My next tip is the "Levels" option. This can also be found at Image-->Adjustments. With this you can balance the brightness.

 

The last tip:

If you want to put some colour in the texture you can use the "Channel Mixer".

It is also at Image-->Adjustments.

 

NOTE: Be careful with the channel mixer! It colours the skin too not just the clothing
