After months and months of my friend trying to persuade me to get SWG, I decided to download the 14-day Free Trial of SWG.

 

After a good six or seven hours of downloading, installing and patching the game, I finally made my character. I am currently on the Flurry Galaxy because a couple of my friends play on there, even though we are all from England and I know there are certain EU Galaxies.

 

I decided to become a Jedi because I just know they're fun and great to play as, and one of my friends spent a few million credits to change back to a Jedi just because I have the free trial. xD

 

As I post this I am level 11 and I am in the need of help. Even though that same friend who spent millions to become a Jedi is getting me *cough*decent*cough* low level Jedi clothes, etc.

 

I actually wanted to be a Bounty Hunter, but my friends and their friends agreed that because I'm new to SWG, I should try a Jedi first. I agreed to that and the whole game itself it better than I expected. I was annoyed that NGE was such a failure because I've played other games where you have several skills instead of just one.

 

Anyway, to conclude this ridiculously long post, I'll just say that I need a bit of help to get used to the controls and basically a tour of most of the planets and I also need to know my way around.

 

I almost forgot - I don't know if it's my computer or that I have the free trial, but the game is annoyingly laggy. T_T

yeah it is laggy, you need at least 2 gigabytes of ram to remove most of it, the rest is dependent on your isp. it's an addicting game once you get into it. glad you're enjoying it.
