Hi there.

 

I'm interested in screwing around with an RP server. Don't groan now, I don't have any RP related questions. I just have some server related questions.

 

A big problem with playing on here is that when RPing as a higher ranking guy, you want to have force points to use and since killing players is time consuming, naturally most people just set the starting points up really high. And then n00bs join...And they're a big problem because they just use all the points and then cause havoc. Is there any way to set certain IPs to have a specific force point start? If not, is there a way to edit just those parts of the code without people having to download whole new files?

 

Another problem is that most server hosts tend to shove the force regeneration so that it regenerates extremely fast, which then causes force spamming and other things. Is there a way to set it so that it not only regenerates slowly, but also goes down slowly? Example is like...You are playing for a long time and finally your Force bar is at 0. And then it'll take forever to recharge because in the game, your character is tired and can't move as fast as he/she would if he/she wasn't tired.

 

I know most people on here see RPers has annoying and such, but there are some out there who enjoy it. If there's no way to do it, that's fine, I'll just have to find a way around that. I'm not asking for new features or anything, I'm just wondering what's possible. Thanks.
