Tobias Reiper
Ok, so I have a pair of headphones, which doesn't play sound, but still has a mic that records just fine. And I have Speakers, which play sound but doesn't have a mic. See how there could be a team here? Well I got 'em both plugged in, but now my Speakers won't play sound. Is there a way to fix this? Are you trying to use your pc as karaoke machine ?? This behaviour often occurs by default on most chipsets. In some chipsets you can override it in audio properties/in others you cant It all depends on what you are trying to achieve and what hardware you have. Ive often seen webcam/headset mic users encountering this on some basic audio chipsets Less likely to happen on a snazzy soundcard of course.... Best thing to do is check if you have a full complement of 3rd party sound sound drivers/utility installed, or are running the windows default drivers, which can be quite limited in functionality mtfbwya
