Game won't start

I've had star wars galaxies for the PC for a while, but i never tried to use it till today. it installed fine but when i trie to start it, nothing happens

any help?

First of all, you should check your system requirements to see if your PC meets the recommended requirements. Second, you need an account, and third, you should download the latest version to limit the long wait you will need to take for the update. (You could probably watch all six movies, and the Clone Wars before you're done.) And, fourth use this buddy installer and you will get 50 levels on your first character free. Then, you only have the last 40 to grind.

* To convert your trial account to an active, paid, entitled subscription, simply launch and log in to the game and click on the “Join Now” button. Then log in to your Station account (if you do not see the ”Join Now” button upon launching the game you can log in to your Station account at http://www.station.sony.com). Select the “Subscribe Now” button and enter a method of payment. Then choose your subscription service package and enter your billing information.

* Upon conversion of the account to an active entitled subscription a player is eligible to receive one Holocron of Knowledge (one per account, non-tradeable) and one buddy token (one per account, tradeable). The buddy token can be given to the Star Wars Galaxies player who referred you to Star Wars Galaxies and can be redeemed in-game (each token can only be used once and only once per account).

* Taking advantage of the 14-day free play offer will not result in your account being considered an “active” subscription account so that if you do not activate your Star Wars Galaxies subscription by providing SOE with valid billing information on or before October 15, 2009 at 11:59 PM PT you will not be eligible to claim the Holocron of Knowledge or the buddy token.
