Lex.mkr
I'm having a problem when I try to install the official patch. I installed TSL and then tried to patch it with the "sw_pc_english_from200424_to210427.exe" file I downloaded from kotorfiles. But the patching stops at 96%, and I get the following message: "Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match." I didn't have any trace of TSL in my computer, because my old one got damaged and I the only thing I could "salvage" was the processor. So... is there any way I could extract the contents of the patch and manually install them? Here are my PC's specs: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) [sWKotOR] ReportDateTime=04/01/2010 19:05:31 SysInfoVersion=v1.00.60 GameExists=1 GameVersion=v2.00.424 GameInstallLocation=C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Knights of the Old Republic II\ [OS] Name=WinXP Version=Windows XP v5.1 build 2600 Service Pack 2 Service Pack=None Status=Pass [swapFiles] ?:\pagefile.sys=0 [CPU] CPUCount=1 CPUSpeed=3000 CPUFamily=15 CPUModel=4 CPUStepping=3 CPUVendor=Intel CPUName= Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz Status=Pass [Memory] RAM=4096 Status=Pass [Disk Free Space] C: (NTFS), UNICODE=106.57GB Status=Pass [CD-ROMs] DriveLetters=D:\ Drives=HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50 ATA Device [Video] Video Card Name=RDPDD Chained DD Video Memory=4096 Desktop Resolution=1280x960x32 @ 70Hz DirectX=DirectX 9.0c (4.09.00.0904) OpenGL Version=2.1.9026 OpenGL Vendor=ATI Technologies Inc. Q
You're going to want to uninstall the game and then reinstall it according to the instructions in the first 2 posts of this thread. The proper order is in the large print in the second post.
