[TSL] I can't install the official patch

I'm having a problem when I try to install the official patch. I installed TSL and then tried to patch it with the "sw_pc_english_from200424_to210427.exe" file I downloaded from kotorfiles. But the patching stops at 96%, and I get the following message:

 

"Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match."

 

I didn't have any trace of TSL in my computer, because my old one got damaged and I the only thing I could "salvage" was the processor. So... is there any way I could extract the contents of the patch and manually install them?

About the OS: I found it weird that WinXP was detected, since I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

You're going to want to uninstall the game and then reinstall it according to the instructions in the first 2 posts of this thread. The proper order is in the large print in the second post.
