Hawkstrong16
Hello again. I have been using a dual boot of XP and Linux Ubuntu. I never really use Linux so I want to uninstall it. How would I go about doing that? I set it up so that it it was installed in the same partition as XP. I want to do it without having to start over with XP, I just got it all setup and updated and I really don't want to go though it all again. lol Any help would be great. Thanks! acdcfanbill
On the same partition? Are you using a vmware? If so, you pretty much just have to delete the image file and a few incidental things that go with it. You can uninstall VMWare too if you like. If it's not on the same partition, then I would say, rewrite the discs master boot record with XP's Recovery Console and then just delete the two (plus any extra) linux partitions. The ext/whatever data partition and the swap partition.
Hawkstrong16
Thanks Bill! I got it all sorted out. I think if I try Linux again I'm just going to do it on a different HDD, its easier that way. Thanks for your help!
