dantooine kotor 1 crystal cave crashes

In dantooine, in the crystal cave, i'll never be able to get to the crystals because i crash once i get to the last kinrath in the cave. i need help!!

You're going to have to uninstall and then reinstall the game according to the large-print instructions at the top of the second post in this thread. Do everything that it tels you to do and in the order that it tells you to do it and the game should run fine.

Edit: Something else happend, after doing what you said with the redownloading and looking at the instructions on the (fixed) KotOR download thing. I don't know if this is normal, but on the Explorer part of the Play Disc, the temp. folder with the DirectX Redestributable Pack isn't on the 'Files Currently On Disc, top section. It's in the 'Files Ready To Be Put On Disc', section. Is this normal?

 

Edit2: It still crashes, I've tested it again. It's never going to work, so I'll just have to wait a year until the online thing comes out...
