Te Darasuum Mandalor
"Attention crew of the USS Enterprise, this is Admiral Jim Kirk. We have been sent to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet but after we arrived in the Corbian Sector, debris was all that remained. I am sorry to say that more distressing news has reached us; Commander Spock has told us that Earth is out of all communications, it could be a solar storm, or the transmissions are being rebooted, but they haven't been out of communication like this before. Don't be alarmed, if something did happen to Earth, it will potentially be our job, no our duty to rebuild. This is just a worst case scenario however. It will be our mission to find out what happened, get to your battle stations immediately; we need to be prepared for whatever happens, Kirk out......" Rules 1. This RP takes place 30 years after the 2009 hit blockbuster film Star Trek and will have relevancy to it. 2. You may only portray 2 characters. 3. You may use characters from previous movies or episodes except James T Kirk whom I will be portraying. I will also portray a character made up for myself. 4. Please be respectful to other RPers. 5. You must portray a character that is a crew on the enterprise and must give his/her name, faction (Starfleet Command, Starfleet Science, Starfleet Engineering, or Starfleet Cadet), species, and bio. 6. Have fun for Pete’s sake! Character 1 Name: James Tiberius Kirk Age: 54 Faction: Starfleet Command Species: Human Bio: Born aboard an exploding Federation capital ship, Jim Kirk had a troubled childhood, he was often rebellious and joined Starfleet because he felt he had nothing better to do. Eventually he became captain of the USS Enterprise.
Ghost
Are you basing this off the new storyline for Star Trek or the old one? Me is confused
Te Darasuum Mandalor
The new one, but they are going to find a black hole which leads to the old canon one.

Ataris
Name: James Tucker Age: 54 Faction: Starfleet Command Species: Half-human, half-Vulcan Bio: The son of Charles Tucker III and T'Pol, James was only told about his father before he signed up for the fleet when he was 18. He looks much like Tucker except for his pointy ears, and is often mistaken by humans to be much younger than he is, as Vulcan-human hybrids are uncommon. After joining the fleet and a few years after the Romulan attack and the formation of the Federation, his mother dies and asks that he not disappoint his father. Already very talented, he asks to join the Enterprise, and is, surprisingly enough, assigned to it under its captain, James T. Kirk.

Ghost
Note to Darasuum Mandalor: If Kirk was 54, he would be an Admiral, so that means someone else has to command the enterprise. Because usually Admirals watch while someone else commands. I noticed that from the movies Name: Captain Jacob Till Species: Human Age: 23 Faction: Starfleet Command Biography: One of the most gifted people in his class, says his mother. An excellent technician, a graceful yet powerful fighter as well as a strong leader. He joined Starfleet when he was 21, right after he graduated college. He lived in California, a small state in the North American Continent. During his childhood he spent most of his time studying and tinkering with his inventions. At school he was often bullied but this quickly stopped when they discovered that Jacob could easily take them down in a fight. When he entered Starfleet he graduated top in his class, and eventually rose up to Commander. However, soon after that ceremony, his father died of an unknown disease. While this travesty devastated Till, he pressed on. He was assigned to the Enterprise-A. During that time he spent much of his time learning under the legendary James T. Kirk. One day, when the Enterprise was in a desperate battle, Till saved the bridge by sending out a decoy to attract the photon torpedo away from the ship, and then used all remaining shields to deflect the phaser bolt which could have ended the Enterprise. A few years after that battle, Captain Spock retired to be ambassador of Vulcan II, which led Jacob to be the new Captain of the Enterprise
Te Darasuum Mandalor
he is an Admiral by ranking, but he captains the enterprise. He also leads the fleet from there.
Ghost
Admirals lead by flagship yes, but usually the flagship is in command of the Captain. The Admiral would give advice and maybe throw in some extra commands, but that's it. Admirals actually were intended to lead from Earth. Admirals are not supposed to be the direct captain of a ship, while they do have superior ranking to captains, they are fleet commanders, which they command the rest of the fleet while the Captain barks out orders and commands to his ship alone. That's why I think someone else should be captain
Te Darasuum Mandalor
Fine, but Kirk is still going to be on the enterprise. It is his flagship.

Te Darasuum Mandalor
It just isn't Star Trek without Kirk and the Enterprise! He has to at least be onboard!
Ghost
Yeah, but then again if that was the case then what about Picard and the Enterprise? He was just as awesome
Te Darasuum Mandalor
I knew you would say that. Picard was almost as cool as Kirk. Let me rephrase that, It just wouldn't be Star Trek WITHOUT the Enterprise or Kirk, period. The movies and episodes with Picard still had cameos of good ol' James Tiberius. Ghost
No, only Generations did, The Rest were pure Picard. Kirk's age was starting to degrade in the 80s Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) and that's why they decided to Kill Kirk in Generations
