1.DESCRIPTION:

Here I shall explain how to make an NPC or the PC express an emotion while he is talking. (Like to make him look angry, sad, look dead, etc.)

WARNING: This tutorial does not cover making dialogs. Just adding emotions.

2.THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

DLG Editor by tk102 (download)

3.STEPS:

a.)Open up the DLGEditor. Now, if you already have a dialog created, press "File"->"Open", and find your .dlg file. If not, create the dialog you'd like. Now, this is an entry of an NPC:

"NPC": Please, help me ![/Quote]

The NPC should be put to beg the player.

b.)So, then select the branch of the entry, and below should appear the properties. Go to Animations:

You can choose what animations the PC/NPC will perform during the dialog by dragging an animation from the available animations list to the Current animations list and choosing the Participant. The Participant can be the tag of an NPC or can be OWNER representing the main NPC speaker. To make the PC animate, specify PLAYER as the Participant.

So, for my NPC, I pick plead or beg, drag it and drop it in the animations.

That's it:thmbup1:
