Salk
Hello! To fix a problem in one cutscene in Lower Taris, I would need to change the soundset for a dialogue line. My questions are: 1) Is it possible to use a search function in KOTOR Tools to individuate which .dlg a specific line is associated to? If yes, how? 2) How do I change the associated soundset? I read that to read soundwaves Sound Miles System is required but that software costs 4000$! Isn't there any other way to play and hear those files? 3) Is it complicated to synch the lips with new soundsets? If you are curious about what dialogue I am speaking about, it's the dialogue in Lower City between two Vulkars and one of Davik's agent complaining for not receiving the due payment. One of the two Niktos speak the Twi'lek language instead of his native one. Any help is very welcome! Thanks!
SimonKTemplar
Sound Miles System is required but that software costs 4000$! If you are referring to the streamwaves in the streamvoice folder, I could read them by using a free set of assorted public-chosen codecs, called CCCP. Located here. Give it a shot then let me know if you can play them.
Salk
That worked! Thank you! Now I hope I can get other answers I need. Edit: Well, I got no answers here but thanks to the help I got from Time_Lord, I was able to fix the problem. This is now done and should be hopefully released sometimes soon at http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/
