TimBob12
I am thinking of starting a thread that tracks who gets different numbers in the journal file and then releasing a single journal file that will be compatible with all mods. People could then link to this thread for people to download the latest journal file. This way there would never be any compatibility issues with the journal file. What I want to know is if this idea is worth carrying out. If it is successful it could be done with other files such as globalcat.2da etc. So really i just want feedback as to whether I should do this. Thanks. VarsityPuppet
No need to. The TSLPatcher already handles this sort of incompatibility.
TimBob12
even journal files with the same numbers?
harIII
Well the numbers of a journal entry wouldn't matter, what would matter is if you use the same resref for an entry. I'm not sure how that would work, personally I wouldn't try it.
TimBob12
What about numbers in the globalcat.2da file?
VarsityPuppet
What about numbers in the globalcat.2da file? I'm pretty sure the TSLPatcher handles that too.
