KOTOR wont install on Vista?

I seem to be getting to about 45% of the installation on the second disc and it will say some kind of error message, like:

 

Component: it says something like cabs by here?

 

File: E:/data2.cab

 

Error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

 

So I don't know what to do really any help available?

Are your disks scratched or dirty?
