Primogen Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 A fairly obscure indie developer of RPGs, Spiderweb Software (Producers of the Avernum series, Geneforge series, Exile series, and Nethergate) have recently released their most recent game for Windows. It has a demo, and it's fairly cheap compared to stuff on the market nowadays, and if you ask me is -better- than most of the stuff around, especially if you like heavily stat-based RPGs with deep, developed worlds. I've so far played a fair chunk of Avadon and enjoyed it greatly, and I've also enjoyed the Avernum and Exile series. All of their work is more than worth taking a look. Spiderweb Software Homepage.

Devs shouldn't attempt to argue with the Codex. It will never end well. But it does provide entertainment for observers.
