KOTOR 2 Graphics Glitches

Hey guys,

I've had this problem in XP for some time now, and I'd love to play KOTOR2 so I'd love your help! When I go into character creation it shows six boxes where the character class models should be... but they are all empty with grey fog. And when I start the game it has these weird glitches - multi-colored spikes and blackness everywhere else. The user interface and menus work and can be seen - I can even see doors and walk around. But I can't see anything else.

I have updated DirectX 9.0c, and installed the latest graphics drivers. I have searched Google a thousand times, but no solutions so far. You guys are my only hope.

Thanks for your help! Here's the Configuration Report -

Download and install these ATI drivers from 2006.

You'll have to uninstall your present drivers before installing these. The best way to do this is to download and install Driver Sweeper. You'll then have to uninstall your present ATI drivers using Add/Remove Programs in Windows' control panel, reboot into Safe Mode and run Driver Sweeper, then reboot into normal mode and install the drivers I linked to above.

I try. picture.php?albumid=330&pictureid=5681

As far as DA2 is concerned, well, maybe it's because my expectations were low to begin with, but I don't think it's all that bad when compared to DAO, which I found to be a major disappointment. It's worth a single playthrough. Get it at a discount, though.
