Invulnerability in Tie Fighter (CD-Version)

I've grabbed out my copy of Tie Fighter (Collector's CD-Rom) out of storage and luckily, I've found a tutorial that will enable me to play it on my Vista PC. However, IIRC there was a cheat of some kind that enabled someone to play Tie Fighter in an invulnerable mode, with unlimited ammunition. Does anyone know I can set that up?

IIRC, you could press the ESC key to call up the menus where you could set the "cheats"...please be aware, though, that you can't advance in the game while "cheats" are on.

Now I remember - you have to do that when you're actually flying the craft. You can't set it up before then. Thanks for the quick reply!

Not entirely accurate.

In Xwing you could not advance while using in game cheats. In TIE Fighter you take a 90% point reduction, making it incredibly hard to level up, particularly with the Secret Order.
