Mod Compatability Issues

Hello out there, I am currently trying to set the world record for most mods run on my Kotor game. Here are a list of the mods I am running.

Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance

Bastila Unchained

Bastila Extra Dialouge

Bastila RedHead

Bastila Romance

Dark Jedi Conversion

Freckled Mission

JediMissionBooster

k1robemodel

Korriban Sith Students

Make Mission a Jedi

MissionArmor pack

RevansRobes

Yuthura as Darth Talon mod

Wotor 1.1

Yuthura redemed

Revan Items by Chainz

ultimate sound mod

As you can tell it's been a heck of a time getting them all to work together, but I've managed to get most of them to. The only problem I am having now is with the Bastila Unchained Mod. No matter what I do or alter in the appearance 2da file, I keep getting the same default robes. I've followed the instructions included with the mod exactly as it was explained, but still no luck.

I must admit I'm not too knowledgeable about editing files in KotorTool, and not to familiar with modding in general (dabbled a bit here and there), but anyone have any ideas of where the problem could be at? Besides the obvious fact that I'm running too many mods? :)

I've tried deleting the files attributed to this mod and using a different Bastila Robe mod... but I'm still getting the same old default Salmon colored one.The only thing I can think of is a compatibility issue with several of the other Bastila mods I'm running. Problem is I can't figure out where it is and hence can't fix it. Even if I allow the appearance 2da file supplied in the mod to overwrite the existing one it doesn't seem to fix the problem either. Despite my best efforst Bastila seems very commited to her salmon robes! Blech...

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you so much for offering your help Harlll. I was mistaken about the mod in question, I appologize, it was the Bastila Robes mod, not the Unchained one. Here is the readme file from the mod.

Bastila Robe Replacement Mod

Author: Woogiee

Email: <snipped>

Contents;

W_BasRobe01.tga

W_BasRobe02.tga

W_BasRobe03.tga

W_BasRobe04.tga

appearace.2da

Description;

This mod replaces the appearance of the Jedi robe son Bastila Shan with reskins I did of her clothing model. Theres a version for each color robe, Red, Blue, Black and Brown.

Installation;

Copy and paste all files into your KOTOR override directory.

Compatibility;

If you are already using a mod with an Appearance.2da file do not put mine into your override, theres a very simple process to make it compatible.

First open the .2da editor in Fred Tetra's KOTOR Tool. Then go to line 4, which is Bastila's. Scroll to theright to find the column labeled modeli and replace it with P_BastilaBB. Then in column texi, very next one to the right of modeli, change it to W_BasRobe.

Uninstallation;

Remove the files from the Override folder in my mod from yourr KOTOR Oveerride.

The 2da's which appear in my override are as follows.

ammunitiontypes.2da

appearance.2da

baseitems.2da

spells.2da

upcrystals.2da

After you make your edits, did you click on a different line? It doesn't matter which one, any other than the one you edited will work. If this isn't done, it won't register the edits.

Thanks Rtas, I appreciate the help. I did what you sugested... but I'm still having the same issue. I made sure I had a properly adjusted appearance2da file, but the problem still remains.. Bastila still in her default Salmon outfit.

I did however manage to get some other Bastila clothing mods to work. The GE_Bastila mod seems to work fine, but I'm now running into issues with the game crashing when I try and enter places like the Cantina on Taris. I figure it's the result of tinkering too much with the Override, but even when I delete the old one and make a new Override by reloading all the mods fresh I'm having crazy glitches and crashes. I'm also thinking that some of my mods may have altered some non-Override files, things like Rim's and such and maybe this is causing some of the crashing? If that's the case am I doomed to have to reload a fresh copy of Kotor? That would really suck, it too me forever to get it to work on my dual core!

Not too sure what to do at the moment, just wish there was a way to make all these great mods compatible with each other.

You're saying you deleted all installed mods, re-installed them and you're still getting problems? are you getting the problems without any mods installed? maybe some of the mods files got duplicated and are causing your problems from somewhere else?

Could be. Thankfully I've finally managed to reinstall everything again and this time my heavily modded game seems to be working fluidly. I simply changed around the order of my mod installations and paid closer attention to my 2da's.

I still haven't been able to get the Bastila Robes Mod by Woogie to work at all. Anyone else tried to run this one? I was looking forward to trying this one out, I really liked the re-coloring and they seemed more like something a Jedi would actually wear. Not too "blingy"... etc. Any more advice is always welcome. Thanks guys.
