CHAPTER 2

 

The Vulture soon came out of hyperspace and entered the atmosphere of Corellia. The Vulture landed in a small spaceport in the city of Coronet. Baron and Talgo left the Vulture and walked to the City Square. Before Baron and Talgo go out to the Republic Base, they must know the exact location of the base, the two walked casual to the local cantina. The cantina was very crowded; it is hard to hear someone next to you when you hear a pazaak player say “Jackpot!” The two men walked to the bartender and asked “Do you know the location of the small Republic base outside Coronet?” “Which one do you mean?” The bartender asked. “The one with valuable cargo.” Baron said loudly over the yelling of the pazaak players and music. “What are you talking about, none of them have valuable cargo.” The bartender said laughing. “Just as I thought, Cassus set me up. Never mind bartender, we are leaving” Baron said angrily. The two men left the cantina, and headed for the spaceport. Only soon Baron realized that his ship was gone. Baron cursed Cassus under his breath, Baron knew he shouldn’t have gone to Corellia for this, Baron finally uncovered the answer to his question, “Cassus wants to eliminate him.”.

 

On Nar Shaddaa Cassus was laughing because his men took Baron’s ship, he said laughing “Now, part 1 is complete of my 2 part plan.” Then he told one of his men to summon Fassk a trandoshan bounty hunter. About 5 minutes later, a trandoshan bounty hunter entered the room. Cassus said, “Hello Fassk, I am in need of your services. I need you to track down and kill Baron Zalco; he is currently on Corellia, in the city of Coronet. Do you need any supplies? If not, then leave and begin your quest, the pay will be very good if this goes well, I guarantee it.” Soon the trandoshan left the room. Cassus grinned and said again, “Soon Baron will be eliminated”.

 

Baron and Talgo went to a small hotel in Coronet, since they don’t have a ship, they have to spend the night in a hotel. They entered the main lobby and rented a hotel room for the night. The night was awful for Baron, since he lost his ship “Vulture” he could not stop thinking about it, he eventually didn’t have any sleep for the night, anyways, he felt like something bad was going to happen in the next few hours. He felt as if someone was going to kill him. Baron was armed, but he knew that it wasn’t enough. In the morning, Baron told Talgo he had to go to the Republic center of Coronet. Talgo wanted to come with him but Baron refused. Baron walked across the Main Square, and entered the Republic Center. Baron walked up to the receptionist and told her that he needs protection. The receptionist replied “What for? And that would cost you a lot of credit’s.” “I have a feeling that there is a bounty hunter coming after me. And I think I have just enough credit’s.” Baron Replied. The receptionist just looked at Baron, she replied “Sorry, we don’t deal with crazy people.” Baron was annoyed, he was wondering what he should do. He decided to buy a shuttle and head for Coruscant. Baron ran back to the hotel and told Talgo to pack his stuff. No more than 5 minutes were Baron and Talgo out of the hotel. The two ran to a shipyard and they bought a small shuttle for 500 credits. Both of them entered the shuttle and Baron flew the shuttle to space, Baron entered the coordinates for Coruscant, and away they went.

 

Fassk soon arrived on Coronet, Corellia. He couldn’t smell Baron anywhere. He knew that Baron left. He was questioned, he did not have any clue where Baron went, though he still won’t give up. Fassk ran to the shipyard and he was asking the shipyard worker if he knew where Baron went. The worker replied scared “He was here, he s-said he w-was going to C-Coruscant.” And that was exactly what Fassk wanted to hear. Fassk ran back to the spaceport and took off to Coruscant.
