Zombieninja18
Hello! I am new to the Lucas Forums, a big fan of Grim, and wanted to know if someone could assist me in changing the language to English. I can't seem to figure it out at all. :/ I have an english file but it doesn't seem to do much but sit there and taunt me. Help? I can give more details if needed. MeddlingMonk
OK, I'm more than a little bit baffled. Grim Fandango is primarily an English-language game. It was localized to some other languages, but the game already exists in English. So, what are you trying to accomplish here? Do you have a localized version and want to play it in English? Or have English subtitles for a localized version? And what is this "English file" of which you speak? Long story short: Give us more details! (Pretty please.) Zombieninja18
Well the version I have is in Italian... And, seeing as I don't know Italian, would like it in English. I downloaded a file but can't seem to get it in English. Uhm..sorry I'm bad at this. New at having to give details about things.
Gownaar
Yes, I can see that giving details is really not your thing. If this file you're talking about is grim.tab from english version, you can use it to get english menus and subtitles but that's it. To 'translate' the game to english would require replacing ~600MB of game data for which you need to get the complete english version anyway.
