I got stuck at hex editing. http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=122085&perpage=40&pagenumber=2e Scroll down a little, you can'tt miss it How do I edit the .mdl to point the saber to use my texture. Ive seen some posts but can someone explain JUST the hex editing. Im using XVI32. Thank you- DJW PS: Ill be happy to give more info if you need. Istorian
Well, if I'm not mistaken the hex editing is required, but it just makes the .mdl file point to the new .tga file, e.g. w_lsabreturq02.tga. This is done so that you can create a .txi file named w_lsabreturq02.txi with these written inside: Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) blending additive decal 1 In other words, to put it simply, it doesn't have to point to your texture, as long as you follow T7's instructions and change the ModelVariation, etc. Again, if I'm wrong, corrections are appreciated. UltimateHK47
Thank you, just I got a little confused when T7 explained what to do, I was a little lost. Ive done the model variation ect, so is it essential the hex editing is done? Thanks for taking your time to read this- DJW
