UnifyingForce
Hello. I just recently downloaded the Kotor Save Game editor. I can change appearances and edit attributes and skills just fine, but I can't edit classes, feats, or force powers. When I select the feat, powers, and class sections all that comes up are blank list boxes. Can someone tell me what is up? here's a pic of the problem
Q
Are you running KSE as an administrator?
UnifyingForce
Running as an administrator was one of the first things I tried. It really just seems terrible. I've still gotten some enjoyment out of the editor, but I really would like to be able to add powers and classes.
UnifyingForce
Ok. I solved my problem. My saves were stored in some path through app data and a virtual store rather than in the program files with my game installation. So I copied my saves into the normal spot in the program files and it seems I can edit all that stuff just fine now. I guess I'll just have to copy my saves back and forth, unless I can make it so the game uses the other location for saves.
Q
If you have the original disk version of the game, reinstall it according to the large-print instructions at the top of the second post in this thread and KSE will work normally.
UnifyingForce
I have the KotOR Collection discs, but I don't really feel like reinstalling if I don't have to. I placed my saves in the regular saves folder under kotor2's installation directory and the editor works fine now. I can edit classes and add feats/powers, so I'm all good now. Thanks though. Q
You don't have to reinstall. That installation guide is for the original CD versions. The Collection should be installed normally.
