So basically I want to replace the old po_pfhc05 with a pic of katee sackhoff, because I think the character model is a pretty good likeness of her. So I've done a 128x128 32-bit tga as instructed elsewhere for each of the three transitions. Similarly I've created new pfhc05, pfhc05d1, and pfhc05d2 based on those portraits, saved as 32 bit tga. However, nothing happens when I drop them into my override folder. Am I missing some step in the process? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Quitting the game then starting up again and creating a new character at least seems to bring up the new head texture, but new games and save games both use the old portrait. The bizarre thing is I have a mod to the 7th caucasian female head in my override as well -- it's part of slender body mod 1.1 -- and when I rename 05 to 07, scrolling through the heads during chargen brings up the new portrait for 07 without a problem.
