ollie1 Posted March 25, 2001 Share Posted March 25, 2001 So here it is another v2 prob. got the new drivers etc . patch and all the rest video parts at the start work great ! game starts and so does the f****** flashing is there anything i can do to stop it. most other games after i bit of messing around i can over come the v2 probs. but not this one i've got a 500 mhz proc. 200 meg and 8 gig and of course the great voodoo 2 IVE TRYED THE LOT IS THERE SOMETHING I'VE MISSED ?? plz help as i relly want to play cheers all ollie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thrik Posted March 25, 2001 Share Posted March 25, 2001 I got that on a Geforce2 (doesn't do it on my voodoo3) when the like menu pops up when you put the cd in, click options, then go into configuration options. Click the tab to go onto the next screen and change the box thay says 'Direct3d and OpenGL'. Make it so the that was previously ticked, is now unticked. Be careful and make a note of your settings so you can change it back if it gives you problem!!! In Windows, Start - Run and type sysedit. Select SYSTEM.INI and find [vcache].
