Computers in the Brain?

Scientists are perfecting a way to integrate computer chips directly into human cells. Not only could this lead to a new type of computing, but it could also allow medical advances, like regrowing damaged nerve cells or enhancing eyesight.

"We can now take a semiconductor and position it where we want it on a cell," a researcher said. "We can interface microelectronic materials with cells. And now the question is how are those going to interact?"

The first step to achieving this has been completed, but whether a neuron will actually be able to communicate with the electronic chip is still unknown.

ok...i would be willing to test this out w/ like a chip that contains all highschool knowledge..this should be implemented at age 5 and school would just be a social thing were people learn confidence in themselves such as speech and various other things that don't come w/ knowledge

You can't claim the terminators. :D I've been reading that new Terminator spinoff book called 'Infiltrator' It's really good so far and has Skynet making a new type of terminator that starts as a human. It's a female called Infiltrator and since it is part human, can successfully infiltrate the human army but can still fight and think likea terminator. Really good
