CaptainRAVE
An earthquake that measured 4.2 on the Richter Scale hit California last night, but it did not appear to have caused much damage and no injuries have been reported. The quake hit at 4:59 p.m and a minute later a smaller aftershock hit the same area. It was centered one mile northeast of Beverly Hills. Police say "The only reports we have are of some broken dishes." Anyone else here feel it??
StormHammer
No...but then I am approximately 6000 miles away in the UK. Mind you, we had a seismic event in the South Wales (UK) valley where I live, about 20 years ago. A mountain fault shifted due to old coal mining activity, and caused an earthquake that measured about 4.6 on the Richter scale - and yes, I did feel that one at the time. It actually woke me up. Strange how a lot of earthquakes strike when you're asleep.
