What I Need

First and formost is someone willing to host my avatar (I'm on geocities, and they're Evil).

 

Also, a new high-bandwidth connection just to read the forums. pages now take twice as long to load, and my HDs thrashing every time I do anything.

 

I'm ambivalent about the new look. It's graphics intensive; great for those of you with state-of-the-art machines, but lousy for us "poor" people who can't afford an upgrade. I probably won't even be able to post at all from mom's computer while I'm home for Christmas.

 

And why won't my custom title show?

u can upload your avatar. just put it on the desktop, and upload, and it's uploaded, and u can dlete it from your desktop.

there is a way to get geocities to host pics for you.

just tell geocities it's a txt instead of a jpg or whatever

if you right click on batboy over there, it'll show you he's on my geocities space

 

UPDATE: no it won't. but the file IS on geocities.

Damn right! This is a nightmare... but I guess we'll just have to get used to it.
