Heavyarms Posted December 13, 2001 Posted December 13, 2001 grenade trooper. You can also try the mech destroyers. NOTE: To stop a assault mech, you need at least 10 to do a quick, decent job. Otherwise, they will be easily taken down by a couple assault mechs, which is around 4.
duder Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Yeah WC is right ....mech destroyers are fairly cheap and do a good job if they are in numbers. Look for units that fire BLUE shots, that is anti mech fire! or so i believe

Knights_Q2 Posted December 25, 2001 Posted December 25, 2001 Use mech destroyers, because they are awsome at other things, not just killing mechs. And why upgrade to hvy pummel when you have butifull 16 range(17 with the upgrade) cannons who can ist back next to your army an slaughter there.

SirKai Posted December 31, 2001 Posted December 31, 2001 I'm just a beginner at the game but I love making AT-AT's and sending them in with pretty good protection. The only thing that has toasted them when I play against the computer has been Snow Speeders. My biggest problem is that I have a hard time protecting the AT-ATs. If I group the AA troops with the mechs, then the AA troops run ahead of the mechs and get toasted on the front lines. If I group the AA troops separately then a couple of AT-AT's always stray too far; the Snow Speeders start shooting up the stray AT-ATs and by the time I notice and get AA troops there, it's too late. Problem remains unsolved.
