Again, I'm moving close to the edge, and as I do not posess a moderator rank I may receive a warning for saying this, but you should seriously alter your attitude.

This forum is devoted to Galactic Battlegrounds, and used by Galactic Battlegrounds fans. If you do not like the game, then that's fine. Personally, I played Sim city and hated it. A friend of mine let me play the Sims, and I found it good in a way (actually want to play it again). But I also disliked it in some ways. I mean, there are no victory objectives. You just keep on playing, expanding, fixing stuff, and playing some more. While many may find this fun (even I like it ..in a way, as it gives you more freedom to play ;), I don't really prefer those kinds of games. However, have I ever went into a site devoted to the sims or sim city saying that the game sucks? No, never. Not once. I'm saying it here, but do you notice how I give reasons for my choices?

Second, your arguments just are wrong. The most visible one is your unbalanced units-statement. This is as wrong as it can gets. Every civilisation have about the same units, and although, say, the Empire cannot get shielded fighters, no other Assault Mech beats their AT-ATs, and their Dark Troopers can almost even take on Jedi. Also, every unit has a counter. They attack you with fighters, you counter with anti-air troopers. They counter your anti-air troopers with strike mechs, which is swiftly fought back by your mech destroyers. Then the enemy arrives with Jedi, and it's time to bring in bounty hunters, which are countered by (fade-out...). See where I'm heading? How can you say they are unbalanced? Rebel air units rule? Build anti-air. Gungan subs own the waters? Get detector units. The game is as balanced as it can get.

Second, you're saying it's slow. I don't know if you mean whetever it runs to slow on your computer or if the action doesn't go fast enough for you. If it is the first one, then its your computer. Does that make a game suck? That your computer is an oldtimer that can't run it? And if it plays too slow, then well, that'd be like me critizising the Sims for having no victory conditions, or Gran Turismo for having no damage effects (that's not my opinion, I'm merely using it for an example). It's just the way the game plays. Some like it, some don't. And if you're one of the ones who hate it, tell those at Jediknight.net.
