matt--
I'll just stick with a background. When I installed digl's wonderful theme, windows xp got a little upset...I had to reinstall. but it's all better now

digl
1600x1200 or higher! what video card and monitor do you have? I also have my desktop at 1024x768, and sometimes I play games at 800x600 and the icons are moved to the left side of the desktop when I come back
matt--
I usually don't go too much higher than 1600x1200, otherwise I can't read the text. My vid card is an Asus 7700 deluxe(tv ins&outs). My monitor is a sony. I got it for $90 at a computer show. It goes up to 1900-something,by 1600-something
