Once there, I got the cup with the cupon, but couldn't get it out of the restaurant. I left the restaurant, and when I came back, the cup was gone. The barrel full of coupons only appears when you've exhausted BOTH methods of getting a coupon and still failed miserably to complete the puzzle. Otherwise you'd be a bit stuck.
