LOL GonkH8er.:D They need to get the guy who approved this game in that chair too.

It's not that the story is terrible, it would actually be kinda cool if done right. But when a game sucks this bad, only an imbicile wouldn't know that it sucks when they ship it out of the door for resale. How could they possibly think they will make any money on this game? Destined for a loss from the start.

When a game is messed up that bad, they are better off cancelling the project rather than losing tons of cash.

This happens more often than not with videogames in my opinion. I think we have some bad decision makers here in the gaming business. We need people smarter than this in charge.

There are just TOO MANY crappy games coming out now. Most companies are all about the cash, but there are exceptions.

Like Raven for example, a company that is obviously making games because they love them, not cause they have to. Or Interplay: By Gamers for Gamers. These are two companies that just don't release crappy games.

I know this is a bit off topic, but what happened to making games in the style of Metroid and Castlevania:SotN. By that I mean the side scrollers where you have to backtrack to unlock new areas. I was shocked they never make a sequel to Castlevania on the PS. Instead they make Castlevania 64, needless to say, not worthy of the name Castlevania. Sure Castlevania or Metroid might be cool in 3D. But if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

Again, besides obvious exceptions, I feel we have the wrong people in charge of games nowadays.:(

Yes, judging by that review, those in charge of development should be strapped into a chair, placed in front of a computer, and forced to play their game non-stop for 6 months. It makes you wonder if anyone actually bothered to test it prior to release.

Another game that I was looking forward to was Shadow Of Zorro...the screenshots had a nice artistic feel to them...but after this review, I won't bother. Apparently Prince Of Persia (the first one) had a better combat control system.

I have to admit, I don't always just rely on reviews when judging a game...but it has to be said that when games are this bad, they're usually spot on.

It just doesn't make sense to me. These people spend all that time and effort developing a title, and then mess it all up and don't bother to fix it. They can't seriously expect to sell these games when they get hammered in reviews like these. And how do some of these issues get past the publisher? It makes you wonder...

All I can say is thank God for all the good developers who deliver solid games. I just hope no more of them bite the dust (like Looking Glass).
